Our privacy policy is very simple: data we collect from you is none of our business. To the extent that our apps and websites can function efficiently without doing so, we prefer to avoid collecting data from you.

We use up-to-date standard security measures to protect data collected from you, and perimeter access to only employees of ours who have need of such access to perform their jobs. In addition to Google Analytics we also use Google AdSense to serve ads on some pages on this site. Google AdSense also uses cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visit to this website and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the internet.

We keep offsite backups of critical systems so that a catastrophic data loss event does not put us out of business. Offsite backups do not store any user information.


Support Interactions


When handling support requests from you, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address (or Twitter handle, if you contact us via Twitter)
  • Some information you provide willingly (such as diagnostic info)

This information is collected to resolve your support inquiry. We retain support emails indeterminately in order to:

  • Have background from previous interactions. This helps us answer your future questions more quickly.
  • If you would like to get rid of support emails you have sent, contact support@fivebrackets.com.

Data Not Collected


Apart from the description above, and mandatory to perform the application's essential functionality at the user's request, our apps and website do not send out any private information. This includes:

  • Contents of files you are working with
  • Screen contents
  • Information from device sensors
  • Your keyboard input
  • Websites that you visit
  • Usernames
  • Passwords

Minors


FiveBrackets LLC does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has shared any information with us, please contact our Data Protection Officer at: dpo@fivebrackets.com. If you are under the age of 18, please be sure to read this policy with your parents of legal guardians and ask questions about the things you do not understand.


Rights of EU Citizens under GDPR


Residents of the EU may implement their rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, such as the rights of access and removal, by contacting us with their request. We commend emailing the request to dpo@fivebrackets.com.
